Zusammenfassung:The invention provides a method for evaluating ultimate bearing capacity of a dam based on a local strength reduction method. The method comprises the following steps: arranging geological weak areas of the dam through geological investigation statistics; a dam simulation calculation model is established, the dam body and the foundation are subjected to overall strength reduction calculation, the overall strength reduction safety coefficient when the dam body and the foundation integrally reach the ultimate bearing capacity under the condition that geological weak areas are not considered is obtained, and dangerous areas where the dam body yields seriously under the normal water storage level are counted; carrying out local strength reduction calculation on the geological weak areas and the geological dangerous areas independently in sequence to obtain local safety coefficients of each geological weak area and each geological dangerous area; and comparing the local safety coefficients of all geological weak a
