Zusammenfassung: | An endless belt, e.g., for use in electric bicycles and other personal sports systems, such as standard bicycles, wheelchairs, scooters (including electric scooters), and other systems that utilize belts to transfer power to move the systems. The belt is particularly suited for suppressing "skipping" during use, having a curvature coefficient of no greater than 0.01%, in some embodiments of less than 0.005%, and having a compressibility coefficient of no greater than 0.00075. The belt may use reinforcing cords, such as carbon cords, some of which, when incorporated into the final belt, have an open porosity of 10% by volume or less, in some embodiments of 5% by volume or less.
