Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a coil component which improves insulation between a terminal electrode and a magnetic element body and reduces connection resistance between a conductor column and the terminal electrode. A coil component (1) is provided with a coil part (3) and a conductor pillar (P1) embedded in a magnetic element (M), a cover insulating film (21) covering a mounting surface (4), and a terminal electrode (E1) connected to the conductor pillar (P1) via an opening (21a). The terminal electrode (E1) is provided with: a conductor layer (31) that is in contact with the conductor pillar (P1) via the opening (21a); and a conductor layer (32) which is made of a conductive material having a lower resistance value than that of the conductor layer (31), covers the surface of the conductor layer (31), and is in contact with the conductor pillar (P1) via the opening (31a).
