The method comprises the following steps: carrying out cold rolling on a pickled plate to obtain a cold hard rolled plate with the surface roughness Ra greater than or equal to 0.8 mu m; the cold hard base plate is subjected to annealing and hot dipping, a steel plate with the surface being a zinc-aluminum-magnesium plating layer is obtained, in the hot dipping process, a plating solution comprises, by mass, 1.0%-1.4% of Mg and 1.5%-1.9% of Al, the hot dipping temperature ranges from 440 DEG C to 460 DEG C, and the furnace nose dew point of hot dipping ranges from-30 DEG C to-20 DEG C; and the steel plate with the zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating on the surface is subjected to finishing treatment under the set rolling force, and the low-aluminum zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating plate is obtained.
