Techniques for retransmission in wireless communication system

Aspects described herein relate to retransmission implementations in new radio (NR) wireless communication systems. In an aspect, a network entity may initially perform multicast transmissions, and then perform multicast retransmissions according to a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) process. In another aspect, a user equipment (UE) may initially receive multicast transmissions from a network entity and receive subsequent multicast transmissions according to a HARQ process.
