The invention provides an impact tool which can restrain the situation that an operator is difficult to see a work object clearly. The impact tool includes: a motor; a hammer that is rotated by the motor; an anvil which is struck in the rotational direction by the hammer; a hammer housing that accommodates the hammer; and a lamp that irradiates light toward the distal end side of the anvil. The hammer housing is provided with a groove.
