The invention discloses a grade highway section toughness evaluation method and system, and the method comprises the steps: disaster degree evaluation: evaluating indexes of different natural disasters, including void disasters, earthquake disasters, fog disasters, wind disasters and flood disasters, and comprehensively considering the influence degree of the disasters on a road section; and evaluating a disaster range, namely evaluating the disaster range by adopting indexes such as landslide, collapse, debris flow, ground fissures, ground subsidence and ground collapse. Indirect toughness evaluation and direct toughness evaluation consider the influence of disasters on the road section traffic capacity, and comprehensively consider factors such as the number of lanes. And finally, according to the comprehensive toughness evaluation indexes, selecting a highway section with a proper grade to carry out rescue work so as to improve the rescue efficiency. The method has the advantages that evaluation is more de
