The molecular marker is TaPRR59-D1-SNP6099, is a KASP marker, and is obtained by amplifying two forward primers as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 2 and a reverse primer as shown in SEQ ID NO: 3, and the 5'ends of the two forward primers as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 2 are respectively combined with an FAM fluorophore and an HEX fluorophore. The TaPRR59-D1 gene has the beneficial effects that the excellent allele of the TaPRR59-D1 gene is explored from the natural population of wheat, the related functional molecular marker for identifying the plant height, the ear length and the thousand seed weight of the wheat is developed, and a gene resource and an effective way are provided for the genetic improvement of the yield trait of the wheat.
