The method comprises the steps that working condition parameters of an amphibious vehicle are obtained, wherein the working condition parameters comprise the front wheel hydro-pneumatic spring pressure, the rear wheel hydro-pneumatic spring pressure and the real-time rotating speed of a water-jet propeller; judging the current working condition of the amphibious vehicle according to the pressure of the front wheel hydro-pneumatic spring of the amphibious vehicle and the real-time rotating speed of the water-jet propeller; determining a working mode of the amphibious vehicle based on the current working condition of the amphibious vehicle; and according to the working mode of the amphibious vehicle, different driving control strategies are selected and executed.
