The method comprises the following steps: S1, obtaining an image of the irregular plate head of the medium-thickness plate; s2, performing segmentation according to the image of the irregular plate head of the medium-thickness plate to obtain a depth-phase dual-channel fusion image; s3, performing three-dimensional point calculation of a double-channel fusion image steel plate area on the depth-phase double-channel fusion image to obtain a three-dimensional grid diagram; and S4, performing rasterization processing and grid clustering processing on the three-dimensional grid diagram to obtain the irregular shape of the plate head needing to be cut off. By the adoption of the technical scheme, the accurate cutting position can be rapidly given.
