System switching method and electronic equipment

The invention provides a system switching method which comprises the following steps: acquiring a switching instruction which is used for switching a first system running on electronic equipment into a second system; in response to the switching instruction, restoring a register corresponding to the UEFI to a state before the first system is started; and starting a second system by using the UEFI according to pre-stored second system data. The second system is started by preventing the UEFI from being destroyed and recovering the register corresponding to the UEFI, and the system switching speed is increased. 本公开提供了一种系统切换，包括：获取切换指令，其中，切换指令用于将电子设备上运行的第一系统切换为第二系统；响应于切换指令，将UEFI所对应的寄存器恢复至第一系统被启动前的状态；根据预存储的第二系统数据，利用UEFI启动第二系统。本公开通过阻止UEFI的销毁并恢复UEFI所对应的寄存器来启动第二系统，提高了系统切换速度。
