Zusammenfassung: | A range profile digitization circuit for converting a repeating analog input signal into a time series of digital amplitude values, the converter comprising: a signal quantizer arranged to receive an analog input signal and a threshold input and arranged to output a binary value quantized output signal based on a comparison of the input signal and the threshold signal; a plurality of samplers, each sampler being arranged to sample and hold an input signal thereof after receiving the trigger signal; and a plurality of decoders and demultiplexers for each sampler, the demultiplexers being arranged to receive the output from the sampler and pass it to a selected one of the decoders based on a selector input. Each of the samplers may be reused during the construction of the range profile by a plurality of decoders associated with each of the samplers. To construct a range profile of the signal, each range point requires a decoder in order to convert the thermometer encoding input into a digital value. Decoder val |
