The method comprises the following steps: respectively and independently collecting gas samples of gas in the whole vehicle and gas volatilized from materials of all parts by adopting a Suyuan tank; directly performing gas chromatography-mass spectrometry-olfactometer analysis on a part of the gas sample in each Suyuan tank to form an odor substance list I; the other part of the gas sample is enriched and concentrated and then desorbed, and the desorbed gas is analyzed by the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry-olfactometer to form an odor substance list II; combining the first odor substance list with the second odor substance list to obtain an in-vehicle odor substance composition list and an odor substance composition list of each part material; and comparing the in-vehicle odor substance composition list with the odor substance composition list of each part material, and finding the part material of each odor substance source in the vehicle
