Agricultural compositions and methods of making and using same

The present disclosure relates to an agricultural composition comprising paraformaldehyde, a nitrification inhibitor, urea, an ammonia source, or a combination thereof, and one or more reaction products prepared from paraformaldehyde, a nitrification inhibitor, urea, an ammonia source, and optionally a solvent, wherein the one or more reaction products are present in an amount of at least 20% by weight of the total weight of the agricultural composition. A fertilizer composition comprising the agricultural composition and a nitrogen source is also disclosed.
