The buck-boost power supply system comprises a PFC circuit, a switching circuit and an overvoltage protection circuit. The first input end of the PFC circuit is configured as a mains supply zero line end N; the first end of the switching circuit is configured to be a mains supply live wire end L, the second end of the switching circuit is connected with the second input end of the PFC circuit, and the switching circuit is configured to adjust the voltage output by the PFC circuit to the load; the overvoltage protection circuit is connected with the switching circuit, and the overvoltage protection circuit is configured to charge a parasitic capacitor in the switching circuit when the switching circuit is abnormally switched off, so that the voltage of each switching tube in the switching circuit is reduced after the switching circuit is switched on.
