The double-stator flywheel energy storage device comprises a rotating shaft, a stator and a rotor, wherein the stator comprises a two-phase winding stator and a three-phase winding stator, and the two-phase winding stator and the three-phase winding stator are arranged on the two sides of the rotor respectively; the rotor comprises a rotor end disc, each side of the rotor end disc is provided with a double-layer hybrid permanent magnet, and the permanent magnets on the two sides of the rotor end disc are symmetrically arranged and have the same magnetizing direction.
