Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a rotor of an electric motor capable of suppressing unnecessary vibration and noise during rotation of the electric motor and a manufacturing method thereof. A rotor of an electric motor includes: a shaft extending along a rotation axis of the motor; and a rotor core fixed to the shaft and having a plurality of core blocks arranged along the rotation axis. The plurality of pellets include a first pellet and a second pellet, the orientations of which are different from each other in the circumferential direction centered on the rotation axis. Each of the plurality of pellets has an outer surface extending in the circumferential direction, a center hole through which the shaft passes, and an outer groove provided in the outer surface. The inner side surface of the center hole continuously contacts the outer side surface of the shaft throughout the entire circumferential direction.
