The energy-saving control method is used for carrying out mode switching on a ship and comprises the steps that state information of the ship and a working condition to be switched are obtained; executing a mode matching step based on the state information and the to-be-switched working condition to determine a to-be-switched mode; in response to the condition that the state information meets a first constraint and the to-be-switched working condition is a rapid maneuvering working condition, determining that the to-be-switched mode is a first mode, and executing a first mode switching step; and in response to the condition that the state information meets a second constraint and the to-be-switched working condition is a cruise working condition, determining that the to-be-switched mode is a second mode, and executing a second mode switching step.
