The invention provides an inclination angle measuring method and device for an angle encoder, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a plurality of coded images through a camera in a process that a cylindrical coded disc of the angle encoder rotates along a rotation center shaft; the rotating central shaft is vertical to the shooting direction of the camera; an angle coding pattern is arranged in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical code disc; performing deduplication processing on the plurality of coded images based on the angle coding patterns in the plurality of coded images; determining a first coded image corresponding to the lowest point position and a second coded image corresponding to the highest point position of the cylindrical coded disc in the rotation process based on the plurality of residual coded images after the de-weighting processing; calculating the displacement of the angle encoder in the vertical direction according to the first encoding image and the second encoding
