The invention provides a valve element assembly for a built-in electric control shock absorber. The valve element assembly comprises a first assembly unit and a second assembly unit which are used for regulating and controlling damping force in the recovery stroke and the compression stroke respectively. The main wiring channel is used for penetrating through a power supply cable for supplying power to the second assembly unit; the main flow channel is arranged in the second assembly unit and is used for allowing the working fluid from the first assembly unit to flow through the main flow channel; and a piston assembly including a return passage allowing the working fluid to flow from a first side of the piston assembly facing the second assembly unit to a second side opposite thereto only during a return stroke and a compression passage allowing the working fluid to flow from the second side of the piston assembly to its first side only during a compression stroke.
