When the modifier is doped into the microwave-activated asphalt to prepare the modified asphalt, favorable influences such as better molecular crosslinking or a more stable colloid system can be generated, so that a product with better performance can be obtained. The initial temperature for heating the asphalt is a liquid storage temperature or a pumping allowable temperature, and the temperature of the asphalt heated by the microwave is increased by 50-60 DEG C.
