Zusammenfassung:	Provided are: a liquid crystal aligning agent containing a novel solvent component suitable for the liquid crystal aligning agent; a liquid crystal alignment film obtained from the liquid crystal aligning agent; and a liquid crystal display element using the liquid crystal alignment film. Furthermore, provided is a liquid crystal display element which has improved coatability at the end of the liquid crystal alignment film and which can obtain high display characteristics even when applied to a liquid crystal display element having a large display surface.
