The method comprises the following steps: establishing a simulation data model of multiple groups of operation modes of a direct current receiving end power grid of a to-be-researched power grid system; calculating short-circuit ratio indexes of the direct-current receiving end near-region power grid of the multiple groups of operation modes by adopting the simulation data models of the multiple groups of operation modes respectively; whether the short-circuit ratio indexes in the multiple sets of operation modes are lower than a preset threshold value or not is judged, and under the condition that the short-circuit ratio indexes are lower than the preset threshold value, low-voltage current limiting control parameters of a direct-current receiving end converter station of the power grid system are adjusted; respectively calculating the number of commutation failures of the
