The embodiment of the invention provides a drop type switch, which comprises a bracket and a switch device, and is characterized in that the bracket comprises a bracket body, and a wire inlet end, a wire outlet end, an upper contact holding mechanism and a lower contact hinging mechanism which are arranged on the bracket body; the switch equipment comprises an upper contact, a pull ring, a vacuum switch, a lower contact, a first wireless communication module, an operating mechanism and a first control module, one end of the upper contact is used for being clamped with the upper contact holding mechanism, the other end of the upper contact is connected with a static contact of the vacuum switch, a moving contact of the vacuum switch is connected with one end of the lower contact, and the other end of the lower contact is connected with the first wireless communication module. The other end of the lower contact is hinged with the lower contact hinging mechanism, the pull ring is arranged at the upper contact, t
