A tower body of the cooling tower is of a hyperbolic curve structure, 20 gradually-shrunk air inlets are evenly formed in the periphery of the cooling tower in the circumferential direction, inlet air is accelerated through the gradually-shrunk air inlets, and meanwhile the effect of increasing the air speed and the air inlet amount is achieved. A heat exchanger for air and circulating water is arranged at the tail end of the tapered air inlet, and air exchanges heat with the circulating water through the heat exchanger, so that the circulating water is cooled.
