The catalyst component comprises a magnesium element, a titanium element and an internal electron donor, wherein the internal electron donor comprises phosphate ester and alpha-cyano succinate and/or substituted alpha-cyano succinate, and the molar ratio of the phosphate ester to the magnesium element is (0.0002-0.002): 1. When the catalyst is used for olefin polymerization, especially propylene polymerization, an obtained polymer has the characteristics of relatively high Z + 1 average molecular weight and good rigidity-toughness balance.
