Protecting memory region based on occurrence of event

The memory region may be protected based on an occurrence of an event in the computing device. A subsystem of the computing device may store information in a memory controller that identifies a memory region to be erased when an event, such as a system or subsystem crash, occurs. The memory controller may control erasing of the memory region in response to an indication associated with the event.
