The H-shaped steel comprises the following chemical components in percentage by mass: 0.09%-0.15% of C, 0.15%-0.50% of Si, 1.10%-1.60% of Mn, less than or equal to 0.020% of P, less than or equal to 0.020% of S, 0.03%-0.09% of Nb, 0.20%-0.50% of Mo, 0.20%-0.50% of Cu, 0.20%-0.50% of Ni, 0.20%-0.50% of Cr and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities, and the total mass fraction is 100%. The smelting process comprises the steps of converter smelting, LF refining, beam blank continuous casting and casting blank stacking and slow cooling. The H-shaped steel disclosed by the invention not only has very good strength and low-temperature toughness, but also has very high high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance index, and has good fire resistance and weather resistance.
