Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses an application of a soybean gene GsPP2C-51 in improving the drought tolerance of plants. The soybean gene GsPP2C-51 is a gene for coding a protein with an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID No.1. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the soybean gene GsPP2C-51. The expression of GsPP2C-51 is obviously induced by the treatment of drought, PEG (Polyethylene Glycol) and exogenous ABA (Abscisic Acid); the overexpression of the GsPP2C-51 improves the drought tolerance of transgenic hairy root composite soybean plants and transgenic arabidopsis thaliana, enhances the activity of SOD, POD and CAT under drought stress, but does not improve the tolerance to salt and cold. The results provide a basis for analyzing the effect of the GsPP2C-51-a1 in the abiotic stress reaction of the soybeans.
