Urine output monitoring system

Disclosed herein is a urine output monitoring system including a urine collection device having a flow meter in communication with a monitor. The urine collection equipment catheter comprises a urine collection bag, a drainage tube and a catheter. A console of the flow meter is in wireless communication with a console of the monitor. The monitor depicts urine flow rate information on the display and wirelessly transmits the urine flow rate information to the EMR system. The flow meter includes a flow meter identifier, and the system links urine flow rate information to the flow meter identifier.
