The preparation method of the light graphene-iron-cobalt alloy composite wave-absorbing material at least comprises the following steps that mixed dispersion liquid containing graphene oxide and magnetic metal is subjected to spray drying to prepare precursor powder, then the precursor powder is calcined under nitrogen and hydrogen mixed gas, and the magnetic metal comprises an iron source and a cobalt source. The advantages of graphene and magnetic metal are integrated, the impedance matching problem of the graphene material is improved, more electromagnetic waves can be transmitted into the material, and the electromagnetic waves are subjected to multiple reflection through the porous morphology, so that the electromagnetic waves are fully consumed, and the wave absorbing effect is achieved.
