The test method relates to a temporary impulse type high-speed wind tunnel, an air inlet channel, a measurement and control device of the air inlet channel, an aero-engine, an engine pedestal and other devices, and comprises five test processes of engine starting and warming-up, windmill condition establishment, propulsion system windmill starting, wind tunnel flow field exiting and engine vehicle stopping. According to the test method, through cooperative control of the wind tunnel equipment and the aircraft propulsion system, assessment of the windmill starting capability of the aircraft propulsion system is realized.
