Zusammenfassung:Structures and methods of operating micro-LEDs are described. The micro-LEDs are arranged in an array of micro-LEDs and have a random orientation, distribution, and location within the array. The lens array includes microlenses configured to capture light from the micro-LEDs. The micro-LED array structure is calibrated by capturing light from each micro-LED at different times and determining characteristics of the light from each micro-LED. Upon receiving image data of an image to be generated by an array of micro-LEDs, a combination of micro-LEDs to be activated to produce an image and characteristics for driving individual micro-LEDs are determined.
