METHOD FOR REDUCING FEED IMPURITY

Disclosed herein is a process for selecting for the pretreatment of renewable feedstock comprising organic nitrogen impurities prior to feeding the feedstock to catalytic hydrotreatment and isomerization. Removal of nitrogen impurities protects the catalyst of subsequent process steps from deactivation and extends catalyst life.
