A geological disaster monitoring method based on unmanned aerial vehicle video stream analysis comprises the following steps: step 1, arranging an unmanned aerial vehicle in a corresponding airspace of a monitoring area, aligning a camera of the unmanned aerial vehicle to a to-be-monitored area, and collecting video data of the to-be-monitored area in real time; 2, analyzing the video data into continuous image frames according to a time sequence, carrying out gray processing on each frame of image, and converting the frame of image into a gray image; and step 3, sequentially calculating the movement speed and direction of the pixel points between two adjacent frames based on an optical flow calculation method. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, the unmanned aerial vehicle is arranged in the target airspace corresponding to the monitoring area, so that the target ar
