The method comprises the steps that a COTS component type selection risk index system is established; establishing a COTS component rapid type selection risk model, defining various risks involved in the model, defining a risk quantitative calculation method, and further performing fusion calculation on COTS type selection comprehensive risks by adopting an average weighting method; on the basis of the established COTS component type selection risk index system, a COTS component type selection risk database is formed through calculation by means of the established COTS component risk model; and setting a COTS component selection risk tolerance threshold according to an application scene and a task type, comparing the selection risk and the user risk acceptance degree obtained by calculation, and giving a COTS component type selection risk analysis result and a type selection suggestion.
