Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a test device and a test method for an insulator power frequency withstand voltage test, and belongs to the technical field of insulator tests. The test device comprises a second insulation support, a first insulation support, a lifting mechanism, a discharge ball, a laser distance measuring sensor and a current sensor. The second insulation support is provided with a plurality of installation holes used for placing insulators to be tested. The multiple sets of lifting mechanisms are fixedly arranged below the first insulating support and located over the mounting holes in a one-to-one mode. The discharging balls are fixedly arranged at the lower end of the lifting mechanism in a one-to-one mode.
