Zusammenfassung: | A processing unit [100] is configured in a different manner based on the identified workload [200, 225], and each configuration of the processing unit is presented to software as a different virtual processing unit [111.112] (e.g., to a device driver [103]). Using these techniques, a processing system can provide different configurations of the processing unit to support different types of workloads, saving system resources. Further, by presenting the different configurations as different virtual processing units, the processing system can implement different processing unit configurations using existing device drivers or another system infrastructure.
