Value burst flow detection method based on P4 and Sketch

The invention relates to a value burst flow detection method based on P4 and Sketch. A traditional detection scheme based on successive bursts is broken through, a value burst flow definition is provided, the burstiness of flow is observed on the flow level, input data packets are processed under limited memory overhead through a Sketch-based data structure design, burst data packets are detected according to time intervals between the data packets, and then the value burst flow is detected. When data packets arrive, each data packet is mapped to one bucket set, but at most one bucket is operated, and voting can be performed according to a sudden voting mechanism under proper conditions; and when each measurement period is finished, traversing all buckets, obtaining the detected value burst flow through query operation, and feeding back the value burst flow to a control plane.
