Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a liquid crystal display device and a control method thereof. The liquid crystal display device comprises a backlight module, a display panel and a front frame, the display panel is located on the light emitting side of the backlight module, the front frame is arranged around the edge of the display panel and connected with the backlight module, and the backlight module comprises a back plate, a light-emitting assembly arranged on the back plate and a control chip electrically connected with the light-emitting assembly; a photoresistor and a temperature-sensitive resistor are arranged on the outer side of the front frame, and the photoresistor and the temperature-sensitive resistor are electrically connected with the control chip. Compared with the prior art, the light-sensitive resistor and the temperature-sensitive resistor are arranged, the control chip adjusts the brightness of the light-emitting assembly according to the current passing through the light-sensitive resistor and th
