The invention discloses a remote sensing monitoring method for crop harvesting progress, which comprises the following steps: acquiring a first remote sensing image and a second remote sensing image of a crop harvesting period in a target area, the resolution of the first remote sensing image being higher than that of the second remote sensing image; determining a crop planting plot in the first remote sensing image based on an artificial intelligence automatic identification technology so as to determine a crop planting plot in the second remote sensing image; determining a spectral feature index and a texture feature index of the second remote sensing image; according to the spectral feature index and the texture feature index, identifying that the pixels in the crop planting plot are unharvested pixels or harvested stubble pixels or harvested pixels; and according to the area of the crop planting plot, the area of the harvested pixel and the area of the harvested stubble pixel, determining whether the crop
