Method for producing L-amino acid

Provided is a method for producing an L-amino acid such as L-glutamic acid. In the present invention, an L-amino acid is produced by culturing a bacterium belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae and having an L-amino acid-producing ability in a culture medium and collecting an L-amino acid from the culture medium and/or a cell of the bacterium.
