Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a formulation, which can be used in particular as a filling material, comprising a base paste in a proportion of between 18 and 36 wt.%, quartz glass particles in a proportion of between 40 and 70 wt.%, and particles of a filler comprising at least one multi-component glass in a proportion of between 10 and 40 wt.%, wherein the base slurry comprises, as a dispersion medium, water in an amount of between 30 wt% and 50 wt% and SiO2 fine particles distributed in a colloidal form therein in an amount of between 50 wt% and 70 wt%, and wherein the total proportion of water in the formulation is between 10 wt% and 20 wt%. The invention further relates to a composite material having a SiO2 matrix which is as crystalline as possible and multi-component glass particles embedded therein, and to a device, in particular suitable for transporting glass melts, comprising said composite material.
