Results show that after the IR-HepG2 cells incubate the alcohol extracts with different concentrations, the glucose intake and consumption of the IR-HepG2 cells are remarkably improved, the balance of glucose inside and outside the cells is maintained, and it is proved that the alpinia oxyphylla alcohol extract, one of the four southern drugs, can play the effect of reducing blood sugar by improving the IR effect; furt
