The method comprises the following steps: by taking a lignin beta-O-4 model compound and an N-methylpyrrole-2-vinyl ketone compound as reaction raw materials, heating and reacting in a solvent for a certain time in an air atmosphere under the action of a titanium catalyst and a 1, 10-phenanthroline ligand to finally obtain the lignin-based indole derivative.
