SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACCESS PROTOCOL

The invention relates to systems and methods for access protocols. The method includes providing at least one bit in an extended capability information element of a beacon frame or probe response frame used during association of an access point with a station. The at least one bit indicates availability or non-availability of the access point to provide a service to the station.
