The method comprises the following steps: S1, adding a reagent into the wastewater containing perfluorooctanoic acid to adjust the pH value of the wastewater; s2, after the pH value is adjusted, adding copper sulfide solid particles into the wastewater containing the perfluorooctanoic acid, and then stirring under a constant-temperature condition to enable the copper sulfide solid particles to adsorb the perfluorooctanoic acid in the wastewater; wherein the optimal molar ratio of the copper sulfide solid particles to the perfluorooctanoic acid is 1: 10.
