The invention discloses a control method of a compressor station and a compressor station control system. Comprising the steps that under the condition that a target starting number set value sent by a regulation and control center is received, the priority of each compressor unit in a plurality of compressor units is obtained; a plurality of target compressor units are determined according to the target starting number set value and the priority of the compressor units; whether the multiple preset starting conditions of each target compressor unit meet the starting requirement or not is judged; under the condition that it is judged that the multiple preset starting conditions of the multiple target compressor units all meet the preset starting requirements, the multiple target compressor units are sequentially controlled to be started according to the priorities of the multiple target compressor units; and controlling the plurality of target compressor units to be connected to the grid through the automatic
