Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a silicon-carbon composite material as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The silicon-carbon composite material comprises porous spherical particles and a carbon coating layer coating the porous spherical particles, pores of the porous spherical particles are open pores, and a carbon material is stacked in pore channels of the open pores; the volume ratio of the open pores is 60-90%, and the percentage refers to the percentage of the volume of the open pores in the volume of the silicon-carbon composite material; the D50 particle size of the silicon-carbon composite material is 15-30 [mu] m. The silicon-carbon composite material disclosed by the invention is uniform in particle size distribution and controllable in pore structure proportion, and can effectively relieve the volume effect caused by the charging and discharging process when silicon is used as a negative electrode material.
