Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a method for evaluating the heat storage performance of a water storage tank. The method comprises the steps that a first temperature measuring device is arranged at the position, close to the lower portion of a hot water distribution plate, of the upper portion in the water storage tank; meanwhile, a second temperature measuring device is arranged at the lower part in the water storage tank and is close to the upper part of the cold water distribution plate; each of the first temperature measuring device and the second temperature measuring device comprises a plurality of temperature measuring points arranged in the cross section of the water storage tank; and calculating a comprehensive index eta of the heat storage performance of the water storage tank by recording data in the heat charging process of the water storage tank and data in the heat releasing process of the water storage tank, wherein the calculation value of eta is in positive correlation with the heat storage performanc
